ENGLISH TECHNICAL WRITING

Wetlands, as an ecosystem of aquatics and terrestrials, provide habitats for lives to support the food chain. To fully manage the environment, it needs to combine different disciplines, such as wetland science, ecology, chemistry, hydrology, engineering to deal with. To understand its relationship with biodiversity, and the changes in depth, it should be studied through every angle, including but not limited to wetland hydrology, substance transference, adaptability of organisms, wetland management, conservation and rehabilitation. To cognize and apply wetland science to conservation and management, it results in multi-participating mechanism, ecological monitoring methods, improvement measures, conservation strategies, nonprofit partnership, and environmental education. This course will interact with related disciplines, also refer to international experience, to explore the current problems and the possible management strategies.

Course Goal
A. Graduates should possess professional abilities to plan and execute in the fields of hydraulic and ocean engineerings.
B. Graduates should possess abilities of leadership and management, broad global perspectives, as well as develop lifelong lesrning habit.
