STREAM ECOLOGY

This courses will focus on the description of physical, chemical, and biological characteristics in streams and rivers including an integrated study of the environmental factors affecting the composition and distribution of biota; emphasizes the application of ecological principles in aquatic ecosystem protection and management.

Course Goal
A. Graduates should possess professional abilities to plan and execute in the fields of hydraulic and ocean engineerings.
B. Graduates should possess abilities of leadership and management, broad global perspectives, as well as develop lifelong lesrning habit.
C. Students should possess humanism spirit in the aspects of society, environment and ethics, as well as understand professional ethics and social responsibilities.
