INTERMEDIATE HYDRAULICS

This course provides participants with knowledge on basic fluid mechanics, basic hydrology, hydraulic principles, flow in open channels, critical flow, gradually varied flow, rapidly varied flow, spatially varied flow, unsteady flow.

Course Goal
A. Graduates should possess professional abilities to plan and execute in the fields of hydraulic and ocean engineerings.
B. Graduates should possess abilities of leadership and management, broad global perspectives, as well as develop lifelong lesrning habit.
C. Students should possess humanism spirit in the aspects of society, environment and ethics, as well as understand professional ethics and social responsibilities.
