MANAGEMENT AND PREVENTION OF SPORTS INJURY

Sports injuries frequently occur in the athletes or during activities in the home, recreational, intramural, and extramural settings. The course is designed to provide the entry-level student a comprehensive understanding of how sports injuries can occur, the assessment, evaluation, management and prevention of such injuries. The course not only provides the students the knowledge of sports injuries, but also fulfils the role of being a first responder to sports injuries and illness through using a variety of techniques and approaches.
