CERAMIC FABRICATION PROCESSES

Ceramics are ancient and new materials, ranging from earthenware plates in the period of colored pottery culture to refractory bricks for the outer shell of spacecraft; of course, bowl plates, bathroom ceramics, and throwing used in daily life are industrially used as The IC boards of components, multilayer laminated capacitors, piezoelectric ceramics, and even ceramic powders for makeup, and ceramic films coated on metal surfaces are all ceramic products. How are these products made?The general process of ceramics includes powder synthesis, mixing, forming, drying, sintering and processing. The ceramic manufacturing process has developed with the advancement of ceramic materials. Even now, the learning technology of its manufacturing process is still accumulating. In order to meet the requirements of new functional materials, new process technologies are necessary. In addition to introducing the basic process and related concepts and technologies, this course will also focus on new and forward-looking processes, such as nano-powder and large-size ceramic forming processes.
