MINE DRAINAGE, VENTILATION AND SAFETY

The course include three major sections, first section concerns hydrogeology and drainage system design and focus on surface drainage system design, slope stability design and mine waste area stability and drainage. The second section concerns underground ventilation system design include ventilation network analysis, air flow calculations, and fan selection. The third part inclu de mine safety guidelines, control and prevention.
