PHYSICAL THERAPY AND WOMEN’S HEALTH

Women's health has been a global concern for many decades. Physical therapists play a critical role in maintaining and promoting women’s health. This course will give the student information on common health-related issues and basic principles of practical application of physical therapy procedures through different stages of a woman’s life (adolescence, pregnancy, menopause and post-menopause). The role of physical therapy in women’s health care and promotion will be addressed.
