PERFORMANCE ARTS AND PRACTICE

'Performing Arts' is an umbrella term, which contains wide definitions. The Module of Performance Arts and Practice attempts to introduce contemporary theatre practitioners and their productions to provide how they have combined history, literature, traditional music, dance and multimedia into their performances. Images, videos, play texts and theatrical exercises will be applied as materials to introduce intercultural performing arts to the students. In this module, the key question of “what is performance?” will be asked and discussed to offer students different creating methods and theatre genres and to inspire them to conduct a theatre piece at the end of module.
