CRITICAL THINKING: CONTEMPORARY LITERARY THEORY

This course aims to familiarize students with the knowledge of contemporary literary criticism, and further cultivate students’ ability to analyze literary texts as well as problems in life. Accordingly, this course will firstly introduce contemporary literary theories and different kinds of “-ism.” Secondly, the course will guide students to actually put these literary theories into practice, and also see how students can actually apply these theories to examine their life experiences and reality issues.
