MUSIC APPRECIATION

This course is centered on Western classical music providing students an approach to intelligent listening skills. Students will be guided to observe how a composer tells a story, depicts a mood, and expresses emotions, so as to further explore students’ imagination for sound and music. The repertoire in classes is selected from the composer’s masterworks. Each work will lead the student to enter the composer’s inner world.
