HUMANITARIAN ARCHITECTURE IN ACTION

This is a community-based, practice-led course. Architecture, at its core, is about living, is about the cultural environment, is humanistic. We will work with communities in Tainan Zuojhen to trace the local cultural heritage and to create narratives for the people and the badlands. In addition to weekly classes, a working-holiday weekend activity is mandatory. Students will learn skills to document heritage materials and methods to create storytelling artifacts.
