THE ARTS AND CULTURE OF IRELAND

By learning Irish culture and arts, students will improving their understanding about European history and explore their international vision. Ireland is one of the most important members of “European Union”. How Ireland creates her economic miracle and how Ireland respects their arts and culture are important to Taiwanese students. Students will learn how Irish arts and culture help Ireland face the challenge of modern world. The Renaissance of Irish arts and culture in 20th century also bring Ireland to a new liberal arts miracle in the world. The architecture, dance performance, folk music, movie industry and Irish enterprise will be examined and discussed in this course to analyze why Ireland government is so active to promote their cultural and creative industry.
