MANAGEMENT AND PREVENTION OF SPORTS INJURY

This course will introduce students to the most common sports injuries that may occur in physical activity and sport, and its management and prevention. The main course content will include the epidemiology and mechanisms of sports injuries, anatomy and physiology associated with the specific sports injury, management of acute and chronic injuries, and the strategies that may be used to prevent injuries developing or stop them from occurring again.
