PLANNING AND IMPLEMENTING INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCES

This course aims to give students an overview of how an international conference is organised successfully. The topics include preparation work, conference procedures, and hospitality in hosting international conferences. Students acquire English for receptionists as well as international etiquette so that they know how to receive and interact with participants from afar professionally. Students are going to apply what they have learned throughout the semester by participating in an international conference, ELF13, to demonstrate their learning outcome. The level of the this course corresponds to the C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference of Languages (CEFR). Module English teachers will not allow you to be added to their classes. However, if you are in desperate to be added to any of the module English courses, please contact foreign language center directly.
