This course is setup with an aim to foster personal growth and global competency in terms of improving communication skills, understanding different cultures, and knowing various global medical-related issues. In terms of teaching methods, the course prepares the medical students to be able to have a more rewarding experience through a series of learner-centered, collaborative learning projects instead of pure lecture.
